Coaching
Why Coaching?
Coaching is often identified as the most powerful relationship experienced by coaching clients. Unlike well-meaning family, friends and co-workers who know what is best for you, your coach is typically the only person in your life who does not have an agenda about what is truly best for you.
Professionally trained and unencumbered by the subtle biases related to being closely involved in your life and/or unable to set their own ideas aside, a coach allows you the opportunity to personally discover the correct course for you to follow.
Your coach accompanies you as you create the vision of your future and make your choices along the way.
Who can benefit from coaching?
Awakened Wisdom coaches take a holistic view of the client and recognize that the client is not made up of separatedepartments such as career, health, relationship, family etc. Rather, the client is whole, and many if not all of these things are interrelated and all aspects must be considered to have a balanced and fulfilling life.
Coaching for the corporate world
Organizations today are in constant flux. With new technology, smaller teams, larger demands and constant change, it can be difficult for leadership to keep the team on track and focused on organizational goals. Coaching offers many advantages to organizations and their people from the leadership team down. Three key areas we frequently help organizations to manage include productivity, stress management and morale, which we have highlighted below. This, however, is not a comprehensive list of the ways we might support your organizational goals. For more information, email us at: Patrick@awakenedwisdom.com
Productivity
The so called time famine of increased demands for greater productivity in shorter periods will not be solved through technology alone. People are at the core of the demands. However, as employees and their managers are asked to do more, maintaining balance becomes a juggling act that few are equipped to handle alone and the results can be devastating to organizations resulting in decreased productivity and potentially even high staff turnover stemming from high stress and low morale.
Coaching within companies includes working with employees to identify and create balance. If people are fulfilled and have balance in their lives, then the energy they bring with them to their work and business environment contributes in a positive way to all those around them despite how busy everyone is. And, we know that with balance, morale and creativity are maintained at much higher levels.
Stress Management
Coaching helps to sharpen the focus for people on to important issues of the day allowing people to learn ways to not get bogged down or caught in the reeds that exist in every organization every day.
Coaching also works towards identifying what causes stress and techniques to maximize productivity and lessen the stress load. The effect on the feelings of stress is profound because of coaching elicits a change in the overall approach to stress.
Morale
It is common knowledge that people who feel recognized and valued by their organization are more productive and operate at much higher levels of effectiveness. Coaching focuses on connecting staff and managers with their sense of value within the corporation while creating clarity around goals and establishing personal accountability towards them.
Coaching reconnects people with their motivators and driving force towards both individual and organizational goals, acknowledging the two are intrinsically linked. Yet, unlike seminars that last a day and reinvigorate people for a short while, coaching stays with participants over time because it takes place over a longer period, therefore creating lasting results.
