Awakened Wisdom for Leading Organizations
This blog is intended to inspire conversations about what is needed for an organization to flourish and operate on the leading edge.
It seems more and more that organizations expect tremendous amounts of time, creativity, self-directed, and personal responsibility, from its members.
The last ten years have especially challenged organizations and the people in them to make decisions that result in high profitability, therefore being accountable to investors, while at the same time being held accountable to the communities in which they operate for the impact they have.
This is just as important for a small locally based organization as it is for a global one.
What are the conditions that exist that have members of these organizations feeling well used at the end of the day as opposed to just used?
What does it take in an organization to empower its members to take risks as opposed to towing the line, playing safe, and not sticking their necks out?
What type of organization is needed to move forward through the next decade in a good way?
What is the emerging trend that will decide the Leaders from the wishful thinkers?
hmmmm.......

Awakened Wisdom for Burma
It is a mystery to me how and why Burma in particular has become so important to me in this life.
I had never heard much of Burma in my journey until one day I found myself wandering through her biggest city, Yangoon, in search of a teacher. That walk led me along a most incredible journey that took me into living the life of a Buddhist monk and from there to a remarkable voyage to villages and countryside that had not been visited by a foreigner before me for thirty years. What I found was a spectacular country of paradox, deep mystery, ancient wisdom, beautiful soulful people and an unusually cruel and brutal military.
The blog is intended to raise awareness for those you of that are curious and to give a voice to the growing chorus that is shouting out at the injustice of the Burmese situation.
Join this blog and add your voice, your prayers, your tears and your heart in support of an emerging change that is ready to happen.
